Abstract:In this paper, the analytical-iteration method is proposed to calculate the open-circuit magnetic field of insert permanent magnet(PM) with rotor eccentricity. Perturbation method is used for computing the magnetic field with rotor eccentricity; considering this result as boundary condition the air-gap magnetic field is obtained with stator slots; after several iterations the final air-gap magnetic field distribution is obtained. This model facilitates the calculation of the magnetic field distribution of the motor in the case of eccentric parameters. The force and the cogging torque are obtained when eccentricity distance changed. The analytical solutions are verified by the results of the corresponding finite element(FE) analysis. The work shows that the proposed method is accurate and effective.
