Abstract:To achieve the seamless transfer and improve renewable energy utilization of the distributed generation system, a new islanding detection method without devastating and active power fluctuation is proposed in the paper. Periodic reactive current disturbance is injected, and the voltage frequency of PCC (point of common coupling) is forced to occur cyclical fluctuation. Sliding discrete Fourier transform method is used to extract the characteristic value in the frequency fluctuation, and the variation of the characteristic value before and after islanding is used to distinguish islanding. Theoretical analysis and simulations are conducted according to IEEE Std1547,and the results show that the proposed method can detect the islanding in the worst case.
