| A Multi-input Step-up Converter for Individual Supplying Power Based on the Switch-Capacitor Network |

Abstract In the renewable hybrid power generation system, multi-input DC/DC converter (MIC) can supply energy for the load individually or simultaneously, which can simplify the circuit and reduce the cost of the power system. However, the existing MIC can not meet some or all requirements of the technical parameters well, such as high step-up ratio, low ripples and low switch stress. Therefore, according to the switch-capacitor working characteristics of discharging in series, charging in parallel and boosting output-voltage by the add of several netwoks, a novel multi-input step-up converter is deduced in the paper. Taking the three-input step-up converter as the example in the paper, working principles and working performance of the converter in continuous operating mode are given. Simulation analysis and an experimental model is built, whose results indicates: ①High step-up capability and its step-up ratio is related with the number of networks in the switch-capacitor network assembly; ②low switch voltage stress, small input-current ripple and output-voltage ripple; ③Since all switches are drived by the same control signal in isolation, its control circuit is simple; ④It can attain the implementation of power supply individually with high ratio of devices; ⑤A corresponding multi-input step-up converter supplying power simultaneously is also deduced.
