Abstract Micro-power in micro-grid may be very close to the load, power output is directly affected by the nonlinear load. When conventional inverter with nonlinear loads using PI control, the system control accuracy is not high, the robustness of the parameter perturbation is not strong, and the ability of anti-load disturbance is limited. In order to improve the dynamic performance of micro-power inverter control system, reduce the inverter control hardware and software costs, for the micro power inverter model with nonlinear load, proposed the use of sliding mode variable structure control strategy within modern control theory, based on sliding mode three-phase voltage closed-loop micro-power inverter control system is designed. Through system simulation analysis, the results show that the micro-power can supply better voltage waveform output.
