基于ANSYS的温差发电器性能

Abstract The high voltage isolation of signal and power supply between electrical equipment and detector is solved effectively by using thermoelectric generator as power supply, which also use the waste heat of devices. In order to improve the performance of thermoelectric generator, the factors that would affect the performance of thermoelectric generator are researched, and the 3D model of a thermoelectric generator composed of signal PN junctions is built with ANSYS. Both on steady and transient state, the temperature difference between hot and cold side, and output voltage are simulated under different thermal conductivity of the insulation padding between p-n junctions and different fin heights of the cooling fin on the cold side. As a result of simulation, with the increase of the fin height of cooling fin, the temperature difference and output voltage will rise until reaching a limit, and with the amplify of thermal conductivity of insulation padding, they will minish to a steady state. Through contrastive analysis with the experimental result, the simulation result is proved.
