软开关技术在磁悬浮轴承功率放大器中的应用

Abstract A conventional power amplifier of magnetic bearing in hard switching mode brings on higher switching loss and higher harmonic distortion. To overcome these shortcomings, a new parallel resonant DC link three-level switching power amplifier is proposed for magnetic bearing. The auxiliary resonant unit is added into the DC link of the traditional switching power amplifier based on the three-level control method. All switching devices are operated under zero voltage switching (ZVS) or zero current switching (ZCS). The paper analyzes working principles of different modes and deduces the corresponding circuit equations. Simulation and experimental results show that output current has the same small ripples as traditional three-level power amplifier. Switching loss and harmonic distortion can be reduced. The validity and the efficiency of the circuit are verified.
