Abstract:An array signal processing method TLS-ESPRIT (total least squares-estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance technique) was applied in parameter identification of synchronous machine. This method is a high-resolution method based on subspace analysis, which decomposes HANKEL matrix into signal subspace and noise subspace and is denoised by TLS(total least square) again, so it can improve the capacity of anti-noise. It can extract the transient and sub-transient parameters of synchronous machine accurately. The simulation examples demonstrate that this method is capable of higher precision, stronger anti-noise capacity and easier than other identification methods. The dynamic simulation test proves that this method is feasible and available.
