Error Analysis of High Frequency Pulsating Signal Injection Method

Abstract:In order to analyze the influences of system parameters on position estimation error of high frequency pulsating signal injection method, to minimize position estimation error and eventually to improve the PMSM sensorless control performance, an expression of position estimation error is introduced based on the analysis of a PMSM’s dq axe voltages under the high frequency pulse voltage injection condition. Afterwards, the influences of controller frequency, inverter DC bus voltage and the injected high frequency pulse voltage on position estimation error are concluded by numerical analysis. In the end, experiments are conducted to prove the validity of the error analysis theory.
