Abstract:As an AC exciter with rotating rectifier load in a certain aeronautic constant speed and frequency a simplified method is researched. It separates exciter circuit from total loop equations which would decrease system matrix order. Moreover, armature circuit and load circuit are calculated respectively. Furthermore, simplified mathematic model is established and period divisions and conversion conditions are summarized according to three kinds of working methods. Meanwhile, dynamic response waveforms are obtained with Simplorer. The simulation results verify the working principle of the mathematical model and convenience of proposed method for AC exciter with rotating rectifier load. It can also be applied to research on other rectified output generator system and rectifier circuit.
