Abstract:In this paper, the power transformer vibration problems caused by DC magnetic bias were studied. First, I have finished the simulation and modal experiment for the natural frequencies of transformer and given the basic theory of vibration measurements.On this basis, the vibration testing of transformer was also done. The waveforms of vibration displacement of measuring points in time domain and frequency domain, the trends of vibration intensity of measuring points and displacement RMS on different joints and DC magnetic bias conditions were given. Finally, summing up the basic laws of the transformer vibration on the basis of theory and experiment and obtaining the basic methods of reducing vibration. The experimental reference was provided for the vibration problems of large power transformers under the DC magnetic bias conditions.
