模块化多电平换流器环流及抑制策略研究

摘要模块化多电平换流器(MMC)作为实现多电平换流器的一种新的拓扑结构, 具有高度模块化、维护间隔长、输出波形谐波含量低等优点。然而其本身的结构特点也带来了桥臂环流问题, 环流的存在使得MMC桥臂电流发生畸变, 从而提高了器件的额定电流容量, 增加了系统成本, 同时也造成了不必要的损耗。本文在建立桥臂电流方程的基础上, 首先从不同的方面分析了桥臂环流的形成原因, 进而得出阀侧交流电流、桥臂电流、环流和直流母线电流之间的数量关系;然后通过对方程的进一步整理推导, 得出了桥臂电流中环流的二倍频特性。为实现对环流的有效抑制, 分别根据环流形成原因及其特性, 提出了基于电容电压均衡的水平环流抑制策略和基于比例谐振控制器的垂直环流抑制策略以及二次滤波方法, 从而在不改变桥臂电感的基础上实现环流的抑制目的。最后在PSCAD/ EMTDC下搭建了21电平仿真模型并进行了仿真。

Abstract：Modular multilevel converter(MMC) is a new circuit topology to realize multilevel converters. Major advantages of MMC are high modularity, longer maintenance intervals, low generation of harmonics, etc. However the circulation current which is aroused by it’s structure distorts the leg currents and increases the rated current of power devices, which increases system cost and unnecessary power lost. Based on the leg current equations, this paper firstly analyses the circulation current form reasons from different aspects and, then the quantitative relationship between the leg current, dc bus current and circulation current is derived. Secondly, through the deep analysis, the double base frequency characteristic for the circulation current is deduced. In order to reduce or suppress the circulation current, three measures, a modified voltage balancing algorithm, a circulation current restrain controller based on proportional resonant(PR) and a leg current filter, are developed according to it’s forming reasons and characteristic without changing the leg inductance. At last, the simulation model of MMC with 21 voltage levels by PSCAD/ EMTDC is realized to verify its effectiveness.
