Abstract:In order to eliminate DC-bias and enhance output performance of the converter, stereoscopic integrated magnetic components of 4-phase voltage regulator module(VRM) is proposed. With combining of “field” and “circuit”, this paper analyzes the theory of integrated magnetic components eliminating DC-bias. This paper provides the electromagnetic design method, and deduces the equivalent circuit of integrated magnetic components. Finally, the Saber simulation, 3D Maxwell simulation and prototype experiments show that the structure of coupling magnetics is feasible and interleaved converter has a better output performance.
