Abstract:Based on instantaneous power theory and space vector pulse width modulation technique, a design method of the main circuit’s key parameters on shunt active power filters is proposed. The power flow of the whole system is analyzed when the shunt active power filter is used. Besides the selection principle of the capacity’s value is presented. As both the current’s output ability and its ripple limit are related to the AC inductor’s value, some advice is also given. Considering the improvement of the DC voltage utilization by the SVPWM, some changes on the DC voltage selection are also discussed. At last, a simulation experiment is done to verify the principle above.
