Abstract:PCB Rogowstki coil is used as current transformer for measuring current under complex conditions, and its anti-interference property determines the accuracy of curreut measuremeat. In this paper a new type of PCB Rogowski coil is designed with symmetric foils in double printed board and returning turn reverse to the winding direction from output end. And the mutual-inductance characteristic between the coils with different wiring styles and the primary conductor is investigated when stray interference magnetic-field vertical to the PCB planeexists. Also the value of mutual-inductance is measured under the interfering condition. Based on the analysis above, the returning turn of the new PCB Rogowski coil is improved. The results of analysis and measurement indicate the returning turn can effectively suppress the vertical magnetic-field interference. The new Rogowski coil performances well on uniformity and anti-interference property, and it is cuit to be adopted as sensing head under the complex condition of stray magnetic field.
