Abstract:As to the sub-harmonic and chaos instabilities which commonly exist in the peak-current mode power converter systems, a new zero-perturbation control method is proposed in this paper. Combining with the steady state relationship between the input and output of the peak current-mode Buck converter, a simplified zero-perturbation compensation condition is given and the corresponding control equation as well as its simple analog-circuit realization is constructed out. At the same time the system bifurcation boundary equation is derived based on Fourier transform method, and hence the range of control parameter is obtained. With the application of the zero-perturbation compensation control to Buck converter, the simulation and experimental results presented in the last part verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the validness of the proposed control idea.
