Abstract:The repetitive control is introduced for current control of active power filter to eliminate the steady state periodic error. Furthermore, a three-state hysteresis controller, which consists of repetitive control part and hysteresis control part, is constructed to promove the dynamic performance of the system. The expected supply current is directly calculated by the supply voltage and the output of the voltage loop controller. As a result, the detection algorithm is simplified. Discussions on the design of the voltage control loop are presented and a significant theory basis for designing the controller parameters of active filter is offered. The proposed method is simple and easy for engineering implementation. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
