Torque Ripple Minimization of Switched Reluctance Motor Based on Iterative Learning Control |

Abstract A torque controller using iterative learning control (ILC) is proposed to reduce torque ripple of switched reluctance motor (SRM). The designed controller based on ILC doesnot need to know accurate model and parameters of SRM and its algorithm is simple. A simulation model of switched reluctance motor drive(SRD) based on ILC and a SRD experimental system using ILC technology and TM320F2812 are established. Both simulation and experimental results on designed controller for a 8/6 prototype SRM validate the effectiveness of torque minimization using ILC.
