Uncertain Optimal Dispatch Strategy Based on Generalized Energy Storage for Multi-Energy System

Abstract  Considering the uncertainties of both sources and loads, a robust optimal dispatch strategy based on generalized energy storage (GES) is proposed for multi-energy power system. Firstly, a energy hub architecture considering cogeneration was utilized, to model electric and thermal energy sources in the system. Battery energy storage and heat storage tank were described by a unified state of energy model. While for virtual energy storage, normal cloud model and autoregressive moving average model were introduced to model electrical and thermal flexible loads, and the regulation characteristics of GES resources were analyzed. On this basis, adjustable robust method was introduced, and an uncertain optimal dispatch model with the lowest operating cost was established. Aimed at the uncertainties of renewable sources in this model, duality theory and Lagrangian transformation were used to transform the uncertain constraints into deterministic constraints. In addition, normal cloud generator and scene reduction technology were applied to get typical scenes, in order to deal with the uncertainties of load response. The uncertain optimal dispatch model was solved by Matlab/YALMIP toolbox, and the case studies illustrated the availability and reasonability of the proposed strategy.
