Inductance Identification Method of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Considering Inverter Nonlinearity Based on High-Frequency Injection |

Abstract The traditional inductance identification method of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is affected by the nonlinearity of the inverter. For this reason, a high-frequency injection inductance parameter identification method considering the nonlinearity of the inverter is proposed, which injects high-frequency rotating square wave voltage in two-phase stationary coordinate system. In addition, a signal construction method that can suppress the nonlinearity of the inverter is proposed. This signal construction method is used to construct the high-frequency response current difference in the two-phase stationary coordinate system to obtain the d-q axis inductance parameter identification signals of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. According to the error analysis, the selection method of high-frequency injection signal is given. The experimental results on a 1.5kW internal permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) show that the proposed method can realize the inductance parameter identification considering the saturation effect, and has the advantages of fast convergence speed, effective suppression of inverter nonlinearity, and easy engineering implement.
