Abstract Under the conditions of the increasingly close connection between electricity and hydrogen and the increasingly mature development of microgrid technology, this paper proposes an optimal allocation method of hybrid energy storage micro-grid capacity considering electro-hydrogen coupling, taking unit power cost, load loss rate and energy excess rate as objective functions. Among them, the hydrogen energy storage system mainly includes components such as an electrolytic cell, a fuel cell, and a hydrogen storage tank. The energy storage system is clean and pollution-free, which can improve the utilization ratio of photovoltaic power generation and smooth the voltage fluctuation of DC bus. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to solve the concrete example, and the optimal capacity configuration result of integrated economy and power supply reliability is obtained. By comparing and analyzing the influence of different optimization algorithms and weight coefficients on the configuration results, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified. RT-LAB hardware-simulation platform is used to run under the actual situation with the configuration results, which ensures the economy and stability of the system in the actual work.
