| Full Digital Inverter Signal Processing Based on Kalman Prediction |

Abstract Full digital invert power sources are surrounded by harsh circumstance with large current and strong interference. So feedback signals must be filtered to realize the full digitalization. A new method is proposed to eliminate the noise, which is based on Kalman prediction. First, the current feedback signal is studied to know characteristics of real and noise signals. Then, the Kalman minimum variance estimation equation group is established. The interference pulse occurrence time and amplitude are determined according to the difference between the signal measurement and prediction values. Third, threshold of the residual is set as the critical point of signal processing to obtain useful information from original signals and supply correct feedback signals for the current-mode pulse width modulation (PWM) controller. Finally, experimental results show the filter based on Kalman prediction has better performance than the moving average filter and Butterworth filter, which can reduce process and measurement noised effectively, and has fast dynamic response and no phase shift. The full digital inverter can work accurately and steadily.
