Abstract When multi-parallel inverters are connected to weak grid at the same point of common coupling, the interaction between multi-parallel inverters and the grid is a potential threat to the stable and reliable operation of the system. The traditional grid-side inductance current feedback control method with notch filter can suppress the high-frequency oscillation of multi-parallel inverters in a certain extent. But it will lead to the stability reduction and even instability. Thus, the suppression method of high-frequency oscillation by improved notch filter is proposed for multi-paralleled inverters. This method not only effectively restrains multi-parallel inverters' harmonic current into the grid, and avoids the high-frequency oscillation of impedance network, but also improves the phase margin of the system, and ensures the sufficient stability and better dynamic performance of the system in the weak grid. Considering the notch depth and dynamic performance of the improved notch filter, the appropriate control parameters are selected. Experimental results verify the validity of the proposed method.
