Abstract The price of electricity is an important factor in incentivizing the participation of electric vehicles in grid dispatching. How to determine reasonable incentive price through negotiation is one of the main concerns to both grid and electric vehicles. In order to solve this problem, the negotiation strategy of electric vehicles participating in system peak shaving under multi-agent situation is studied, and a two-stage negotiation model of electric vehicle’s discharging price considering multi-agent is established. First of all, according to the cost accounting of the electric vehicle agent and the electricity company as well as the estimation of each other's cost, the acceptable price range for multiple negotiators is obtained. Then, the price range is substituted into the two-stage negotiation model. In the first stage, each participant conducts tentative quotation; in the second stage, participants update their own quotations through learning from each other and finally the electric vehicle discharging price will be obtained. At last, a case simulation is conducted to verify the rationality and effectiveness of the proposed model.
