Abstract In order to improve the voltage stability of the grid-connected permanent magnet wind power system based on the solid-state transformer,the super capacitor is controlled for charging and discharging through the bi-directional converter in the low voltage DC side.A switched affine linear system is modeled based on the Boost circuit in this paper.On the basis of the Lyapunov stability theorem,the operation areas of each subsystem are divided and the switching rules are designed to guarantee the quadratic stability of the system under any circumstance.By utilizing the charge-discharge strategy of the super capacitor,the bus bar voltage stability is maintained,the switch frequency is reduced,and the robustness of the system is enhanced effectively.The simulations demonstrate that the voltage fluctuation in the DC side,the charge-discharge voltage,and the current of the super capacitor decrease simultaneously under the conditions of wind speed change and grid voltage drop.The fluctuation of the DC-bus voltage can be suppressed rapidly and accurately under the proposed scheme,and the power quality and stability of the grid wind turbines can be improved effectively as well.
