Abstract For meeting the demands of PV grid-connected system on large capacity and high efficiency, a novel dual series inverter topology is proposed in this paper. By establishing the mathematic model of the dual series inverters system, the method of the modulation with differential value of common current eliminating is implemented. Then the stable control of dual-DC voltage and the independent MPPT control of dual series photovoltaic cells are presented not only reducing the initial cost of the PV system but improving the generating efficiency. Simulation and experiments are made to verify the feasibility of proposed topology and the goodness of strategy.
