Short-Circuit Current Control Strategy for Full-Bridge LLC Converter(II)—Loss Analysis and Experiment Research

Abstract  In this paper, two types of control strategy for power switches are analyzed for full- bridge LLC converter under short circuit mode based on state-plane analysis. A brief calculation for short-current and switch stress are investigated and demonstrated under short circuit mode in detail. Comparing with traditional solution directly increase switching frequency, the concept presented in this paper brings better short current limitation performance and lower stress of switches. Finally, a thoroughly simulation and experiment are built to verify the theoretical analysis.
