A Direct Torque Control Strategy of Counter-Rotating Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors |

Abstract Considering the problem of counter-rotating permanent magnet synchronous motor (CR-PMSM) out-of-step under unbalance load of bilateral rotor conditions, in this paper, a direct torque control(DTC) strategy based on the bilateral rotor torque angle was proposed from the analysis of mathematical model of CR-PMSM and the spatial relationship between the flux vector. This strategy can realize time-sharing control torque of bilateral rotor, by observing the bilateral rotor angle to real-time regulation of stator flux location. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed strategy can maintain bilateral rotor speed synchronous tracking for a given speed accurately, and prevent the occurrence phenomenon of bilateral rotor out-of-step under unbalanced load disturbance.
