Abstract The paper integrates distributed generation (DG), battery storage(BS), and electric vehicle(EV) into microgrid as combined power generation system (CPGS), aiming at reliability assessmentfor distribution system with EV.EV sare classified asroutine EVs and private EVs based on the driving behavior.The load model ofthe routine EV sisbased on the daily dispatch table.The probability model for charging demand and discharging capacityof the private EVs is established according tothe statistical data of the petrol vehicles and the probability distribution of the charging start instant and the charging time.Considering the charge and discharge curve of EVs, the daily load and the power generation of DGs in microgrid, the paper analyzes the charge-discharge behavior of BS and EV and calculates power supply time forisland CPGS.Based on the fault duration and power supply time of CPGS, the fault duration and times in the island can be acquired to help sequential Monte Carlo method achieving reliability assessment for the distribution system with microgrid.The RBTS Bus 6 test system is applied to verify the reliability assessment model and make quantitative analysis for the influence of BS capacity, V2G technology, driving behavior, recharging mode, and penetration of EV on the distribution system reliability.
