Research on Control Strategy for PWM Inverter Based on One-Step-Delay Compensator |

Abstract The relationship between the degree-of-freedom (DOF) of controller and the DOF of system for PWM inverter is analyzed in discrete domain. By introducing the output of controller as an new state variable of the inverter to form a one-step-delay compensator and adding a relevant feedback coefficient to increase the DOF of the controller,the constraint of “DOF of the controller is equal to the DOF of the system” is satisfied,then the nature of association between the new link and the control-delay of the inverter system is expounded,and a double loop control strategy based on the augmented state variable is proposed with the desired dynamic characteristic obtained by means of pole assignment. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy can ensure stability for the inverter system along with good dynamic and static performances.
