Application of Compound Repetitive Control in Shunt Active Power Filter |

Abstract Conventional repetitive control could realize accurate tracking of multi-harmonics signal, and is widely used in the shunt active power filter control system. But conventional repetitive control is difficult to meet fast dynamic response requirements of nonlinear load in the industrial field. Moreover with the significant high frequency harmonic suppression effect of LCL filter used in shunt active power filter. Further research based on repetitive control in shunt active power filter with LCL filter is needed. The parameter design method of a compound repetitive controller is given in the paper, and a detailed analysis of compound repetitive control’s dynamic and static performance is analyzed. Finally simulation and experimental results.
