电压源型全控器件励磁控制策略

Abstract Excitation system based on full controlled devices converter has not only the ability of ordinary excitation system but can also supply more damping to the synchronous generator and increase the stability of power system through injecting reactive current to the grid. This paper first analyzes the basics principle of excitation system based on full controlled, and deduced the theory how the injected reactive current in the terminal affects the damping of the system. The research shows that after injecting proper recative current will finally increse the system’s damping and the effect is mainly depended on the capacity of the compensation system and the parameters of and the openation condition of the current system. This paper also designs the control strategy of voltage source converter excitation system based on full controlled devices, using three phase full bridge PWM converter as exciter. The simulation results show that, this kind of voltage source converter excitation system can supply more damping to system through another way, and also increase the stability of the generator. The larger capacity of the compensation system, the more damping there will be.
