No-Load Characteristic Analysis on Radial Structure HESG of Magnetic Shunting Type |

Abstract With the help of the magnetic shunting, the air-gap magnetic field of the radial structure hybrid excitation synchronous machine(HESM)is convinent regulated. The structure and priniple of HESM were described , no-load characteristic is researched. Aim to solve the question of the no-load voltage has small range, the paper discusses method the decrease leak magnetic between magnetizer and increase air gap flux, and talked about the lengths of parmanent magnetic parts and an electric magnetic part impact on no-load running characteristic of HESM.The simulation and experimental result show the machine is suitable for short and wide structure, and magnetic shunt radial structure HESM’s axis direction length influences the no load running characteristic of machine’s.
