Peak Current Control Mode for Quadratic Boost Converter |

Abstract Wide input voltage range of quadratic Boost converter has attracted much attention recently. Compared with conventional Boost converter, quadratic Boost converter has two LC filters, thus is a four order dynamics circuit. Peak current control mode of quadratic Boost converter with input inductor current and output capacitor voltage as feedback control variable is proposed. The proposed control scheme is simple. Experimental results show that the proposed peak current control quadratic Boost converter features with fast transient response and small output voltage ripple.
