Abstract Considering the influence of natural disasters and extreme weather in Northeast China, the uncertainty of scenery and the abnormal behavior of load will induce the risk of supply and demand imbalance. Considering the flexibility and resilience, the operation characteristics of heterogeneous energy flow system are studied. At the same time, aiming at the stability and flexibility of heterogeneous energy flow system in the scenario of supply and demand imbalance risk, the interaction and imbalance regulation of multi-energy flow in imbalance risk are studied. The supply and demand interaction and imbalance control strategy of heterogeneous energy flow system is proposed. Considering the uncertainty of scenery and the abnormal behavior of load, the influence of risk factors is studied. Considering the source side supply, load demand and network loss power, the evaluation index of supply and demand imbalance is constructed, and the supply and demand relationship of source-network-load is studied. The flexible resources in the domain are excavated, and the electro-hydrogen coupling unit is used to participate in the coordinated regulation of the supply and demand imbalance response of the system. The interaction and dynamic characteristics of each subsystem of heterogeneous energy flow are analyzed. The power supply and demand imbalance scenario of heterogeneous energy flow system is studied, and the regulation mechanism of electro-hydrogen coupling participating in heterogeneous energy flow interaction is constructed. The risk indicators are proposed from the source, network and load levels to evaluate the stability, resilience and flexibility of the system. Considering the stability, demand-side resilience and flexibility of the system, the imbalance risk index is constructed to build a coordinated control model considering the imbalance risk factors, and the risk assessment, system cost, scenery consumption and risk carbon emission of the system under the imbalance risk are analyzed. Taking into account the subjectivity and objectivity of the weight of each index, the improved analytic hierarchy process (AHP)-anti-entropy weight combination weighting method is used to determine the weight of the risk index, analyze the comprehensive benefits of the system in the risk scenario, such as economic reliability, energy consumption and low-carbon emission reduction, and study the system response and control schemes in different scenarios. Based on the risk carbon emission index, the system carbon flow footprint model is constructed. By describing the system carbon flow topology information, the effect of electro-hydrogen coupling participating in system response and coordinated regulation under risk scenarios is reflected. The carbon flow footprint of multi-energy supply is described, and the coordinated process of electro-hydrogen coupling participating in multi-energy response under the risk of supply and demand imbalance is described. Finally, an actual regional energy system in Northeast China is simulated to study the system response and collaborative operation scheme under the scenario of incomplete energy supply / consumption. The ability of multi-energy collaboration and source-load interaction in typical scenarios is analyzed in depth, and the coordinated regulation of the response of electricity-hydrogen coupling to the imbalance between supply and demand of the system and the carbon emission effect of multi-energy co-supply are studied. The results show that in the risk scenario with the energy supply / consumption difference of 17.5%/9.69%, the imbalance risk index is reduced by 2.78%/3.82%, the wind and solar consumption rate is increased by 5.75%/6.84%, and the risk carbon emission is reduced by10.45%/10.53%. It is verified that the multi-energy synergy involved in electro-hydrogen coupling can effectively improve the response of system supply and demand imbalance.
