The Application and Funding of NSFC Project and Important Events of Electrical Engineering Discipline in 2020

Based on the statistics and analysis of NSFC project data in 2020, the application and funding of NSFC projects in electrical field are given. The progress of several important works, such as the major research plan, Shuangqing forum and the 14th five year plan of electrical engineering discipline in 2020 are introduced. The specific adjustment of research directions funded by the electrical engineering discipline is addressed. Some suggestions on NSFC project are supplied, which may be useful for experts and scholars of electrical engineering.
