Modification and Performance Analysis on a Magnetoelectric Laminate Based High Current Sensor

In this paper,we make parameter optimization and modification on an existing magnetoelectric laminate based high current sensor.Through optimizing the design of magnetic circuit,resetting the DC bias magnetic field and expanding the air gap in the ferrite magnetic circular,we have solved the problem of waveform distortion on the sensor,so that it can provide non distorted voltage output whose amplitude has a linear relationship with the current input.The experiment results illustrate that the sensor obtains an electric current sensitivity of 4.5 mV/A within 700 A,holds a stable output voltage over a frequency range of 40~1 500 Hz,and shows good anti interference ability.
