Abstract:The traditional voltage source inverter dynamic voltage restorer(DVR) has an energy storage link, and it is so large, heavy and not easily integrated. At the same time, an AC-AC DVR is more economical and without DC energy storages. The virtual rectifying and inversing topology, the structure of which is simple and able to naturally current commutate, is easily controlled and more reliable. Since that DVR has a strict demand of quick dynamic response of input disturbances, one-cycle control is chosen to control the system. The one-cycle control has a good and rapid ability of input disturbances control. Based on theory analysis, the output dynamic responses of one-cycle control are tested. And principle tests verify the feasibility of the AC-AC DVR and good dynamic performance of one-cycle control.
