Abstract:In order to make more effective control of active power filter (APF), the DC side voltage control mathematical model in a three-phase three-wire APF is established by instantaneous energy equilibrium modeling in the paper. Steady model block-diagram is proposed based on the deduced mathematical model. According to closed-loop control model of PI controller and system steady condition of Routh-Criterion, stability of system is researched and the selection principle for KP and KI of PI controller with the closed-loop control is also discussed in detail. Computer simulations and experiments illustrate the selection principle for KP and KI is feasible, and show the closed-loop control of PI controller are proved to be effective for DC side voltage control of APF.
