Abstract:Traction converter-motor system is the main component of metro vehicle. Voltage and current oscillation on the DC-link of traction converter is easily stirred by metro catenary voltage fluctuation,by limited configuration of LC filter parameters,and by negative impedance characteristic due to certain traction control scheme. Such DC-link oscillation results in consistent unsettled motor torque output,affecting system stability finally. This paper first comes up with the ?-equivalent circuit and approximated linear model based on rotor-field-orientation traction control scheme,and then the equation dealing with input admittance of traction converter is induced,by which the oscillation mechanism of LC-converter-motor system is analyzed thoroughly. Finally,this paper proposes a novel stabilization controller with the on-line correction of the torque component of stator current,for the adjustment of input converter admittance. The controller is then subjected to simulated and experimental results,for the testimony of its effectiveness.
