Abstract:This paper brings forward adaptive inverse control strategy for vector-controlled permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The system’s control structure adopts two closed loop including velocity and current. Nonlinear adaptive filter is used to approach the model and inverse model of the system. The nonlinear adaptive inverse strategy is built for precise speed control with the nonlinear filter is put preceding the PMSM control system plant as the inverse controller. LMS adaptive filter algorithm is used to adjust the weight function. Experiments are done on the speed control system of PMSM. The experimental result shows that the nonlinear filter can model the current loop. The proposed nonlinear adaptive inverse control achieves a precise speed control and has better and faster tracking performance compared with PID control.
