Abstract:The characteristic of the periodical torque ripple in deep-sea plunger pump was analyzed, and the influence of the periodical torque ripple on the speed fluctuation under conventional open-loop or closed-loop control is also studied in this paper. It is shown that the conventional PI controller in closed-loop system could not suppress the load disturbance of middle frequency. Considering the periodical character of the relationship between the load disturbance and the rotor position of the rotating motor, the improved repetitive controller is used to decrease the speed fluctuation in low speed. Both the simulated and experimental result show that repetitive control could suppress the periodical speed fluctuation effectively.
