Abstract:Neural network has been widely used in harmonic detection with its advantages of little calculation and high precision. It can calculate each harmonic component only by single-step. However, to determine the weights of neural network requires a learning process. In order to overcome delay defect of the frequency-domain detection method, this paper proposes a new adaptive predictive algorithm based on neural network. It can predict the future time of harmonic currents according to the current data and the former N-1 historical data, achieving the harmonic real-time and fast detection. Simulation results show that the algorithm achieves high accuracy and rapid speed.
