基于电流片模型的永磁推力轴承优化设计

Abstract To optimize the design of permanent magnet (PM) thrust bearings, concise analytical thrust expressions for single pair and multiple pairs PM rings or PM arrays are presented by applying the analytical method based on the current sheet model. As the accuracy of the proposed method is verified by finite element software, the thrust characteristics of PM thrust bearings are further investigated. Then the axial thrust is used as the optimization objective and some guidelines for the optimum design are obtained. Moreover an interleaved PM thrust bearing configuration is proposed as an optimum choice, which has stacked PM rings with alternative magnetization directions. Finally, a prototype PM thrust bearing is designed and fabricated, whose performance are partially validated on a flywheel energy storage system test platform by experiments.
