Abstract Capacity proportion frequency allocation compensation strategy based on the zero steady state error control is proposed to overcome difficulties in the field of high power application. According to the difference of capacity and the proper optimization, the strategy achieves the zero steady state error compensation that the APF with large capacity compensates more harmonics currents and the one with small capacity compensates less harmonics currents, which significantly improves the compensation accuracy in the field of high power application. The compensation method based on the capacity proportional current limitation is completed in order to improve the stability and security. The superiority of the control architecture proposed is verified completely by theoretical analysis and experimental results.
