Abstract Hybrid distribution transformer (HDT) has rich voltage and current control functions. In order to better realize HDT DC bus voltage control, fuzzy logic control (FLC) is introduced into the traditional proportional-integral (PI) controller. By selecting the appropriate membership function, constructing the corresponding expert database, using the center of gravity method to resolve the fuzzy, a FLC-based HDT DC bus voltage control strategy is proposed to effectively improve the transient performance of the DC bus voltage control system. In Matlab/Simulink, simulation analysis is carried out for the control process during the power-on phase, grid voltage fluctuation and load power sudden change. The simulation results verify the correctness and feasibility of the designed FLC control.
