Abstract  Integrated energy systems are one of the effective ways to improve energy utilization efficiency. This paper establishes a day-ahead dispatch model of regional electricity-heating integrated energy systems considering integrated demand response and conditional value-at-risk. Firstly, a steady model of electricity-heating integrated energy system consisting of gas turbines, distributed renewable energy resources, heat storage tanks, heat pumps, electrical and heating loads was established. Secondly, incentive integrated demand response models applicable for electrical loads, heating loads and industrial heat loads were proposed. Finally, conditional value-at-risk was used to analyze the risks of renewable energy outputs and load forecast uncertainties, and an optimization model with the objective of minimizing system operation cost was established. Effectiveness of the proposed model was verified by a case study of Barry Island integrated energy system and the results illustrated that the addition of integrated demand response can improve system energy utilization efficiency, reduce system operation costs while conditional value-at-risk can balance the safety and economy of day-ahead dispatch.
