Abstract Parallel technology can achieve high reliability, high power, redundant power supply, and synchronous control is one of the key technologies in parallel inverter. A drawback of indisputable master synchronization method can cause false triggering and system fault. An inverter or UPS parallel voting synchronous control method based on power-weighted is presented in the paper, with which, the reliability of the parallel system can be improved significantly. Experimental results indicate that the control method is simple and reliable. As long as the parallel module of the method used under the same voltage regulation mode, it can be achieved inverter or UPS in parallel.
