Abstract：The cost is too high when measuring short-time and frequency-conversion magnetic field signals with the measurement systems recommended in electromagnetic compatibility(EMC) standards. To solve this problem, a novel magnetic field measurement system, which is composed of 3-D magnetic-filed detector, multi-channel oscilloscope and virtual EMI receiver software, is designed in this paper. To measure the short-time and frequency-conversion magnetic field signal radiated by high-power electromagnetic equipments, time domain waveform of the signal is firstly obtained by the 3-D magnetic-field detector and multi-channel oscilloscope, and then frequency spectrum of the captured waveform is analyzed using the virtual EMI receiver software which is designed based on Matlab. The experimental result indicates that the result obtained by the designed measurement system matches well with the measurement result of the systems recommended in EMC standards.
