Abstract:The circuit topology, control strategy, characteristic of steady principle, derived method of voltage transmission ratio, and design criteria of key circuit parameters of the bi-directional Boost DC/DC converter mode inverter with high voltage transmission ratio are proposed and deeply investigated in the paper. The simulation analysis and the principle test results are given. This kind of inverter is differentially constituted of two same bi-directional Boost DC/DC converters with high voltage transmission ratio which produce out of phase low-frequency sinusoidal pulsate DC output voltage. The theoretical analysis, the simulation and the principle test results demonstrate that this kind of inverter which have the advantages of simple topologies, bi-directional power transmission, high voltage transmission ratio, high power density, small input current ripple, simple control, high reliability under short-circuit, wide application prospect and so on, and provide key technical fundamental for large capacity inverter with high voltage transmission ratio.
