Abstract:For the traditional control strategies in the modular photovoltaic generation systems with controller area network(CAN) bus, the control performance is limited by the transmission rate of the CAN bus, which weaks the dynamic characteristics. Based on the power characteristic curves of the PV panel and the inverter, the large bus voltage fluctuation due to the poor dynamic performance is analyzed in this paper. The linear power control is proposed to shorten the system response time and reduce the bus voltage fluctuation resulted by the change of the illumination, which improves the quality of the grid-connected current and the reliability of the system. For the presented control scheme, the effect on the control performance of the whole system with different linear slope is analyzed in detailed with the implementation and the design guidelines are given. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified with the consistency of the experimental results and the theoretical analysis.
